Disney's New 'Lightyear' Funko POPs Have Us Counting Down The Days To The Movie!

We love when Disney partners with Funko to bring us collectibles of our favorite Disney characters.

Recently we’ve seen Funko POPs released for Marvel’s Moon Knight, Funkos to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, even the Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Disney has begun promoting their new film Lightyear (centered on Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise) more heavily as the movie’s release date approaches. And now, Funko POPs inspired by the film have just been released! First up is the Amazon Exclusive Glow in the Dark Disney Pixar Lightyear Buzz Funko POP.

When in the dark, Buzz’s white (XL-01) suit turns blue!

This Funko POP is $13.99 and is set to be released on August 12th, 2022.

Next up is the Lightyear Buzz Lightyear (XL-15) with Sox POP Vinyl Figure on available for Pre-Order for $11.99.

This Funko POP features Buzz Lightyear in his (XL-15) suit, accompanied by his adorable pal, Sox. After pre-ordering, this Funko is set to be delivered in July of 2022.

Now, let’s get a closer look at that adorable kitty, shall we?

Sox is a precious orange and white feline friend of Buzz Lightyear’s and is also available for pre-order at $11.99. Like most Funko POPs, Sox comes in a window display box.

The Lightyear Izzy Hawthorne (Jr. Zap Patrol) POP Vinyl Figure is available for Pre-Order for $11.99.

Izzy comes dressed in her beautifully detailed Jr. Zap Patrol uniform, and like the other Entertainment Earth POP Figures, will be delivered in July 2022.

We can’t forget the villain of this story, can we?

Like many of the other Funko’s in this collection, this Lightyear Zurg Pop! Vinyl Figure is available for Pre-Order for $11.99 and will be released in July of this year.

And lastly, if you loved the first Buzz Funko POP but don’t want him glowing in the dark, Entertainment Earth has another Funko POP to give you exactly what you want.

This Lightyear Buzz Lightyear (XL-01) Pop! Vinyl Figure features Buzz dressed in his (XL-01) spacesuit, but will not glow blue in the dark. This Funko is also cheaper and available for pre-order for $11.99.
