My Free Mickey Thanksgiving SVG and PNG files are perfects for cards and crafting with your Cricut Machine and making homemade bespoke decorations and gifts to celebrate Thanksgiving.
A few ideas to get you started; For Thanksgiving banners, using a length of fabric, iron on vinyl and a wooden dowel, or big squashy cushions using iron on vinyl. Of course there are so many things you can do with my Mickey Thanksgiving files, gifts, decor, layered files, I have included more ideas below.
For my UK and R.O.W readers Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia. Thanksgiving originated as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the previous year. And a day of celebrating and being thankful for and with family. It’s a time of year and Holiday I would so love to experience in the States.

Start by uploading your Mickey Thanksgiving SVG to Cricut Design Space. Once uploaded, duplicate your image and then select the contour tool in the bottom right hand corner.
The contour tool allows you to remove areas of a file to personalise any cut files and craft projects, it is also a great way to work on multiple layers to create DIY mandalas and layered files.
Once it loads, remove all contours, this will give you a solid back layer, you can even duplicate this and weld together to make a card template.

When you send your Mickey Thanksgiving SVG/PNG files to your Cricut to cut, ensure you use your brayer to roll the paper, vinyl or card to adhere to the mat. Movement will affect the cut.
Also organise your coloured layers before hand if you are using a back file, thus you can feed in order and get the colours right. for this projects I used a Cricut Sparkle Paper which is actually a thick sparkly card for the back layer. and orange card stock for the top layer.
If your cutting mat looses its stickiness this will affect the quality of cut. Also make sure your mat is in good condition, this is vital for cutting intricate cuts.
Additionally, set the material and cut pressure correctly to match whatever materials you’re cutting to guarantee a clean cut. If you have any problems cutting check the mat, pressure and material settings as generally this is where the problem will lie.
Lay out and line up both for the Thanksgiving layers and gently apply glue with a glue stick on the back of the top layer, before attaching to the back sparkly layer.
