How to use the blank PVA hydrographic water transfer printing film?
Step 1: Apply base primer on the physical object and dry the surface.Mix the Base primer(WTD4322) with thinner(WTS430) by the ratio 1:2. Apply the mixed base primer evenly on the surface of the physical object, then baking to dry or let it dry itself.
Step 2: Print your picture or pattern on your inkjet printer with pigment ink (JAEP, 6 colors). Use " mirror printing" and " highest quality"
Step 3: Wait until the ink is totally dry,or use hair dryer to dry it and apply our activator A to protect the ink,then wait till it totally dry, or use hair dryer to dry it.
Step 4: Tape the borders of the film before putting onto the water,otherwise the film would expand in the water and peel off the base paper from the printed film.
Step 5: Place the film on the water and fix it, if there are bubbles under the film, just blow it away wwithout damage the film. (Water temperature should be about 35ºC)
Notice: the printed side should be upon the water, and the other side should face to water.
Step 6: Waitting about 60 seconds (If the water temperature lower, just extend this time), spray the activator B evenly to liquefy the film and wait about 10-15 seconds till the film is completely liquefied. At this time you can see the film is liquefy looks like water smooth surface.
Step 7: Dipping slowly the physical object((base primer on object have been dried) into the film with an angle of 35-45 degrees and avoid air bubbles. This time the film can attach on the object.
Step 8: After dipping, washing the physical object, or put it into water to stay for 20 minutes to remove the glue on the surface.
Step 9:Dry the physical object by air gun, and baking with 50 degree centigrade for 10 mins. It can be also let it self-dry, this time just for remove the water.
Step 10:Mix the top primer (WTM) with hardener(WTG) and thinner(WTS) by the ratio 2:1:1,and apply
the mixed top primer evenly on the physical object, then baking to dry or let it dry itself."
